Main Duties
We are looking for a creative Social Media and Showroom Manager to be based in our showroom in Chelsea. You will be passionate about SOCIAL MEDIA AND storytelling, with a deep understanding of Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest & Linkedin social platforms, and possess the ability to develop and execute successful SOCIAL MEDIA strategies which relate back to the brand look and feel, tone of voice and goals.
This role is crucial in enhancing the online presence of our luxury interior design brand, engaging with our audience, and driving brand awareness, and growth. Project management and autonomy to drive forward content calendars and strategy is a key part of the job.
Responsibilities:
- Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive SOCIAL MEDIA strategy that aligns with Maslow’s brand goals and objectives.
- Content Creation: Excellent use of english to create captivating and strategic content for various SOCIAL MEDIA platforms, including text, images, videos, and graphics.
- Content Calendar: Develop and manage a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posting across all SOCIAL MEDIA channels.
- Audience Engagement: Interact with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions to foster engagement and build relationships.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor SOCIAL MEDIA performance using analytics tools and provide regular reports on key metrics and insights. Use data to optimize content and strategies.
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute SOCIAL MEDIA campaigns, contests, and promotions to increase brand visibility and engagement.
- Stay Current: Stay updated on industry trends and changes in SOCIAL MEDIA algorithms, and incorporate best practices into our strategy.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with others within the Kelling team covering marketing, design, and customer service, to ensure a cohesive online presence & messaging.
- Photography and videography: take photos and video on phone or camera to use on SOCIAL MEDIA as a complement to our existing image bank of professional photography.
- Subscriber communications: Create a content plan and generate content for publishing regular Kelling newsletters using Mailchimp, and suggesting and managing initiatives to extend sign-up and reach.
- Website updates: publishing news and features in line with newsletters, SOCIAL MEDIA content and associated SEO tags.
- Collaborative events: Organise and help manage appropriate Pop-up’s in our London showroom, looking to raise awareness and footfall into the showroom including lunch/drinks events.
- Polite and professional manner: handling customer queries and purchases for those who come into the shop and keep the retail team updated.
Skills and Experience Required
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
- Strong understanding of various SOCIAL MEDIA platforms, their features, and best practices.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in SOCIAL MEDIA management tools and analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including tone of voice.
- Attention to detail: ensuring that copy is spellchecked and fact checked with team; creatively directing photography within the brand universe.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate fresh and engaging content.
- Strategic marketing thinking – being able to think about multiple audiences and adapt creative and messaging to appeal to them.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Adept at handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Able to project manage with autonomy.
- Analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Professionalism when represent the business and the marketing team at work events and when dealing with colleagues and clients.
- Graphic design and video editing skills.
- Experience of using Mailchimp email platform and manging tracking and datasets
- Experience of using Squarespace and for implementing SEO and tracking tools
- Experience with suitable graphic design tools such as Photoshop, InDesign, Sketchup or Canva
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
