Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Social Media Lead to join our marketing team. As the Social Media Lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing our Social Media strategy to enhance brand awareness, engage our target audience, and drive business results. The ideal candidate is a creative and strategic thinker with a proven track record of successfully managing Social Media platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Develop the company’s Social Media strategy, aligned with the overarching goals and objectives.
• Create, curate, and manage all published content across various Social Media platforms.
• Grow and expand MKM’s Social Media presence and engagement.
• Monitor Social Media trends, tools, and applications, whist recommending strategies to keep the company at the forefront of industry developments.
• Lead Social Media innovation and best practice, maintaining a sharp eye on our competitor set.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and product teams, to ensure a cohesive and integrated Social Media presence.
• Manage Social Media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, and performance analysis.
• Provide training and guidance on Social Media marketing to branches across the country.
• Identify and research potential influencers, content creators, and brand ambassadors who align with our brand values and target audience.
• Plan and execute influencer marketing campaigns, collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate influencer campaigns with broader marketing initiatives.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Social Media Lead or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful Social Media campaigns.
• In-depth knowledge of popular Social Media platforms, best practices, and emerging trends.
• Strong editorial judgement around crafting and posting content.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
• Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas for engaging content.
• Experience with Social Media advertising platforms.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• Passion for staying current on industry trends and advancements.
• Solid understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices
• Proficiency in using Social Media management tools, such as Hootsuite.
