About the role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and creative Social Media Lead to join our brand, marketing and communications team on a 12-month fixed term contract.
You’ll be a Social Media native with a natural interest in the progression of the industry. You’ll have a passion for creating engaging content, particularly video content that speaks to young people. You’ll also be a skilled and sensitive community manager with the ability to inform and reassure through timely responses.
This role is perfect for someone who is already an avid TikTok and Instagram creator, preferably with a passion for representing the voices of girls and young women. You should have demonstratable experience in Social Media content creation and community management for brands and/or organisations and be able to share examples of your work.
Key responsibilities:
- To drive Girlguiding’s strategic objectives and support both volunteers and girls.
- To create ‘thumb-stopping’ Social Media content for a range of platforms.
- To support the Girlguiding community online through timely and engaging community management.
- To lead on the Social Media output for key Girlguiding projects.
