We are looking for a Software Development Manager / Technical Lead with hands-on technical and leadership/management experience. You will be joining a talented software engineering team of 6 to 10 people, building digital solutions in partnership with the police force, law enforcement, central government and Criminal Justice services.

About You:
- We are looking for an excellent problem solver with an active interest in the latest design and development tools and technologies.
- You will be hands-on technically, with knowledge of design, development and architecture of Microsoft stack technologies.
- You will have experience of direct line management, one-to-one's, resource allocation and driving quality and best practice.
Knowledge and experience:
- Experience of breaking down complex market requirements into secure, scalable and resilient system designs.
- Solid experience developing in C# using Visual Studio.
- Solid experience creating maintainable code and using source control solutions such as GIT or TFS.
- Developing software that deals with real-time messaging communication
- Experience in writing Technical Systems/Solutions Documentation.
- Experience of work in an Agile Development Environment.
The business operates a hybrid working structure with 2 days a week onsite in their offices located along the M27 near Southampton, Eastleigh, Whiteley, Fareham.
You will need to be a UK national with eligibility for security clearance to work for this company.
