Prosper Recruitment are working in partnership with a well-established Solar Installation business in the UK who have completed a vast amount of residential and commercial renewable energy installations. Our client has been established for many years and due to growth plans and recent successes are now looking to recruit a Solar Business Development Executive for their Residential installation division.

This company offers great career enhancement opportunities for the right candidate. They are looking for someone to predominately work on Residential Sales in Birmingham and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and execute a well-defined sales strategy for selling the Company's Solar Proposition to new business customers across your Region
• Accountable for leading sales opportunities, including driving the sales process from plan to close, achieving growth and hitting sales targets, revenue objectives for new prospects.
• Grow and manage a pipeline and opportunities, reporting to management on a regular basis a view of pipeline, forecasting and actions to achieve closure.
• Negotiate and secure client contracts
• Be able to qualify opportunities through early analysis by collecting data and detailed information from customers.
• Supporting customers through energy industry experience and giving appropriate advice.
• Provide customer insight back to the business to help develop our proposition to the marketplace

Requirements:

• Ideally 2+ years' experience in Solar sales in the field - Residential, however this client would consider a good solar telesales person looking to progress to Field Sales and will also consider applicants from other sector i.e., construction, home improvements, building materials sector. It's a proven track record of a successful sales performance individual with the right mind set that is most important
• Some experience of Solar PV Design is advantageous but not essential as training given
• Solid and verifiable track record of overachievement and verifiable record of successfully growing market share
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand the technical workings of the product of the company line and convey the advanced technical product benefits to potential customers in easy-to-grasp terms
• Proven track record of identifying, negotiating/converting and closing deals
• Ability to identify and convert new accounts while maintaining existing relationships
• Demonstrated success in operating effectively in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, complex, rapid growth environment
• A distinct customer service focus
• Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.

• A hungry go-getter with a strong can-do and hands-on attitude.

• Full, clean, driving license

Package on offer:

£30k pa basic + car allowance + commission - OTE - £70k - £80k pa
