Spa Cafe Manager – About you
- Management experience in café / restaurant environment is essential
- Confidence in managing in a team in a fast paced environment
- Barista experience is essential
- Ability to work calmly under pressure in an organised manner
- Experience in delivering training, writing rotas and team management
- Pro-active and passionate for your work and communication with colleagues
- Enthusiastic about hospitality and 5 star service
- Keen eye for detail and flexible attitude
Aim of the Spa Cafe Manager role
Oversee and run the Pool Bar on a day to day basis working closely with the Food and Beverage Operations Director. To implement and develop new ideas to ensure the Pool Bar is a success
Key responsibilities of the Spa Cafe Manager:
- Effectively day to day management to ensure smooth operation in the Pool Bar
- Lead by example to ensure the team delivers high level of 5 star service at all times
- Serve members and guests with a personalised service to build rapport and excellent service
- Make coffees, juices, light bites and health dishes from the Pool Bar kitchen
- Be main point of contact for trouble shooting and problem solving with team and guests
- Be confident in preparing the staff rotas and manage the holidays to ensure enough staff cover
- take ownership in ensuring that the kitchen always works to the food hygiene regulations and guidelines.
- Attend daily meetings to understand any guest requirements and special requests for the day
- Be passionate in creating and developing new promotional ideas to generate revenue and create a buzz in the Pool Bar
