The Spa at Ebrington Hotel is currently looking to recruit an experienced Spa Manager to launch and manage the New Spa and Thermal Area. We now seek an experienced Spa Manager to launch and develop our new 6 treatment room spa & are looking for someone who has a passion for wellness and be knowledgeable about the various treatments and services offered at the Spa. They should be able to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency & profitability within the spa.

The Spa Manager is responsible for the overall operation and financial success of the spa. This includes managing budgets, forecasting, developing marketing strategies to increase revenue and ensuring that guests have an exceptional experience.

They should have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as strong leader- ship abilities. Organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively is paramount in this customer focused role.

In addition to managing staff, the Spa Manager will also be responsible for hiring and ensuring new employees are fully trained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the daily operations of the spa, including managing staff and scheduling appointments
• Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
• Create and manage budgets and financial reports.
• Hire, train, and manage a team of spa professionals.
• Ensure that all guests enjoy a truly exceptional spa experience by providing a luxurious experience, going above and beyond and inspiring the team to do the same.
• Excellent customer service and addressing any customer complaints or concerns.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in the spa & pool area including health and safety checks.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, staff, and suppliers.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and implement best practices.
• Carry out treatments on clients
• Train new staff on all treatments and spa products
• Maintain & Manage the pool and thermal suite

Essential Requirements:

• A good track record of leading and developing a passionate spa team.
• Experience in spa management or a related field
• Qualified Therapist
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other relevant spa software
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• A passion for the spa industry
• Experience of pool management & health & safety legistlation
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Working experience of finance, budgeting, marketing, competitor and market analysis
