Remuneration: £50,000-£60,000 + 30% Bonus

The role of the Specification Sales Manager – Façade Glazing & Curtain Walling will involve:
- Hybrid field sales position, promoting a manufactured range of aluminium systems (façade systems, Curtain Walling and aluminium doors & windows)
- 30% of your time providing support to architectural practises, assisting with proposals and specifications, providing information etc. (our client is looking to grow the architectural specification influence to circa 50% of this role over time)
- Remainder of time split between managing approx.. 10-12 aluminium fabricator accounts as well as preparing for monthly dealer meetings with aluminium fabricators etc. and managing relationships with regional builders and main contractors
- Inheriting an area which over-achieved budget expectations last year
- Revenue responsibility circa £3m+
- Average order value to our client (metal) £200,00-£300,000, but can be £1m+
- 60% account managing existing relationships, 40$ new business with architects and contractors
- Access to a healthy volume of inbound enquiries and glenigan leads
- Typical projects include unit factories, small developments, our client is hoping this person can target larger projects within education, high rise residential, commercial office, healthcare and education
The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager – Façade Glazing & Curtain Walling with:
- Ideally field sales experience within an aluminium system house or building envelope architectural specification field sales experience
- Also open to design/ estimating experience within an aluminium fabricator
- Roofing, terracotta cladding, rainscreen, curtain wall and façade backgrounds all of interest
- IT literate, CRM profficient
- Specific knowledge of Curtain Walling and aluminium doors & windows is not essential but may be advantageous
- Ability to sell on quality over price
- Outgoing personality
