Strategic Account Manager - National

The role:

This is an amazing opportunity for a dynamic, growth minded Strategic Account Manager to join a well established, highly successful, global organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for both enhancing and maintaining excellent relationships with the businesses well established network of distribution partners, but also managing a prospect list of potential new clients, to build and develop new relationships with a variety of clients, from exciting new start ups to large, world renowned brand names.

Your day-to-day will see you reaching out to, & communicating with, key stakeholders such as MD's, Purchasing Directors, Operations Directors, Finance Directors, and other individuals within the senior management teams, to identify their potential needs and requirements taking a thorough and consultative approach.

Working closely with the client through workshops to fully understand their strategic goals, you will develop a brief of their needs to take back to the business, where you will work closely with internal stakeholders such as work space designers, procurement and the dealership partners, to present a solution utilizing their premium range of work place products which includes seating, desks & workstations, meeting & conference tables, storage, architecture & space division & accessories, to meet their needs.

The Person:

The profile we are looking for to take on this exciting opportunity will...

- Currently be working at a senior level within a B2B field based sales role

- Have prior experience of selling a product or solution of high value, with a long lead time - up to 18 months.

- Ideally previously have sold into the B2B/commercial sector or sold through a distribution partnership

- Be a strong, critical thinker who can demonstrate a solid understanding of a structured sales process and articulate what that looks like

- Demonstrate a consultative, solution-based sales style

- Possess strong relationship building skills, be confident, have an outstanding work eth

Location:

This role offers a blend of field, home & office based working. When you are not out with customers (who could be anywhere in the UK but predominantly around London, North West & North East) you will either be situated in one of the dealership's offices, the London office or home.

Due to the collaborative nature of the business and importance of internal stakeholder relationships you will need to be in the London office at least 1 x per week, unless you are London based in which case you will need to be in the office 2-3 times per week.
