Job description

Job Title: Strategic Events Manager

Location: Crewe, Cheshire

Duration: Contract initially until 31/12/2024 - Possibility of extension

Pay Rate: £34.50 per hour PAYE

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Working Pattern: Hybrid working - 3 days on site

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans for Brand Experiences aligned with the annual marketing plan and launch strategy.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the Regions and Retailers, to gather input and ensure buy-in for event projects.
  • Lead and manage a flexible cross-functional team to deliver successful events that align with the global brand vision.
  • Set targets, monitor progress, and ensure global alignment for all event initiatives.
  • Effectively manage budgets to maximise resources and deliver exceptional experiences.
  • Support the planning and execution of various events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale showcases.

Requirements:

  • Experience in strategic development and successful programme delivery within a customer-driven environment.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to meet a range of business objectives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Previous experience working with agencies in the corporate events arena.
  • Flexibility to travel
