Our client is a successful Structural Engineering practice based in High Wycombe who have established themselves as one of the leading small engineering consultancies in the South-East region. Their project workload is increasing and they need to strengthen their team as a result.
Their values ensure integrity, collaboration and quality and they strive to produce engineering excellence and innovation on all projects.
They are now seeking a structural design engineer who has at least 2 years’ UK experience working on a range of schemes but with a focus on domestic (residential) and commercial sectors. You will have new build, renovation and extension experience.
About you:
- Degree in civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years’ UK experience
- Ability to carry out structural design for all types of building structures, under the guidance of more senior engineers
- Ability to use Tekla, Tedds and Masterseries an advantage
- Good understanding of building structures and traditional materials such as masonry, concrete, timber and steel
- Good communication skills
- Desire to progress your career
