Education and Student Services Manager

We are seeking an Education and Student Services Manager to join our School. This role is crucial in ensuring that our undergraduate and postgraduate taught students receive an outstanding educational experience. The successful candidate will be a key player in managing and providing administrative support for all teaching and learning activities and will have the opportunity to develop their skills as a manager and leader within a Higher Education Institution. On-site presence is required for a minimum of 3 days a week.
Day to Day of the role:
- Line management of the Education and Student Services Team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Oversee the delivery of high levels of customer service to students and teaching staff.
- Act as a liaison for all education-related matters within the School and with relevant Faculty and central services departments.
- Contribute to the design, development, quality assurance, and delivery of the taught programme curriculum.
- Formulate policies and procedures to support the School’s education strategy.
- Provide strategic advice and support to the Head of School on educational activities.
- Lead on quality assurance processes and the development of new programmes.
- Manage the Education and Student Services budgets and contribute to financial planning.
- Support School activities related to education and represent the School at university events and committees.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in education administration within a Higher Education Institution.
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with academic and professional services colleagues.
- Experience in quality assurance and curriculum development.
- Competency in financial management and planning.
- Familiarity with educational governance frameworks and strategic planning.
