Student Services Officer

Supporting our students to adapt to life in London, problem solving, and generally giving a very warm welcome as our student arrive to our school. Thats just a few aspects of whats involved in working for Stafford House International, London, as a Student Services Officer.

As Student Services Officer, youll join our supportive team, based in our schools Reception. Were a fast-paced, vibrant English Language School, situated in the heart of London (based just a 3-minute away from Holborn station) and we welcome hundreds of young adults from overseas, each year.

We provide our students with accommodation, while they learn English in a classroom setting, and through a fun activities and excursions programme. As Student Services Officer, you will be the first port-of-call for their questions ranging from accommodation queries, to adjusting to life in London. You'll be involved in allocating rooms and so front of house experience is also a real plus, for this role.

Heres a little of what it takes to be a Student Services Officer:

• 
  A can-do attitude is essential. Youll need to think on your feet and enjoy problem solving

• You will need to be a skilled communicator

• Speaking additional languages would be of real benefit although isn't essential

• Some experience of working front of house, in reception or in a school would be helpful

• Be customer focused, able to support our students with confidence and sensitivity

• You will be comfortable working with databases and MS Office packages

• You have a sense of fun and are not afraid to get stuck in!
