Student Veterinary Nurse

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Student Veterinary Nurse to join our team here at Ambivet in Ripley!

This is a full-time position, covering Monday-Friday with weekend and on-call shifts.

We are looking for an individual who possesses great communication skills, enjoys working in a team and is passionate about promoting exceptional animal care. Within our branch we have a good reputation for making any visits as stress-free for patients as possible, therefore a desire to work in this way is essential.

Experience and Qualifications needed:

Our ideal applicant is someone who is already nursing 1st or 2nd year wanting to move practices. We also look for someone who will be reliable with a willingness to learn and to be able to work within a team. Previous experience in a veterinary environment is essential.

You will also need:

• Five GCSEs at grade C and above (or equivalent), which must include English language, maths and a science subject.

OR

• An animal nursing assistant (ANA) or veterinary care assistant (VCA) qualification, along with functional skills level two in application of number and communication.

The salary for this position will be in line with National Minimum Wage +3% cost of living increase.
