Main Duties
Section 1: Purpose of the Role
To support the team and keep the studio running efficiently. Field Grey is a design company that delivers effective uniform solutions, Industry experience is essential for success in this role, you will need to have formal design training and be eager to apply that in a commercial environment. You will also need to be resilient and be able to handle demanding situations with a smile and a “can do” attitude. This is vital, as the role will include a high level of responsibility.
Section 2: Key Responsibilities
Responsible for:
· Office and Studio tasks including stationary orders, ensuring the office is running efficiently and is clean and tidy, dealing with incoming and outgoing post, answering phone and email queries.
· IT solutions including logging IT problems and booking IT assistance.
· Logistical tasks including booking of FGL deliveries and logging and checking deliveries.
· General office administration including filing away samples, fabrics/trims and general upkeep
· Diary management.
· Day to day project activities required by the design team including:
a. Contacting clients by phone or email to obtain important project information.
b. Providing assistance to the design and production team. Tasks would be in line with the projects.
c. Attending design meetings and preparing notes for the design team.
d. Organisation and preparation of material for client presentations and meetings including relevant paperwork, garments, equipment, references and IT requirements
e. Responsible for assisting the smooth running of meetings Ensuring the meeting space and communal spaces are clean and tidy and arranging refreshments.
Section 3: Other specific responsibilities
Presentations
· Excellent organisational and communication skills
· Researching for design presentations assisting with; Proposals and pitches
· Assist the design team in prepping for client facing and Internal meetings this will include prepping samples and ensuring the studio is a welcoming environment
Project
· Assisting the design and product team by chasing suppliers for orders
· Ordering samples from Off the peg suppliers
· Sending and Returning samples to suppliers and clients
· Responding to client queries and demands
Marketing and Business Development
· Contributing to trade shows, pitches and presentations
· Database entry
· Assisting e-commerce and marketing team across our social media platforms including:
· Shopify
· Instagram / LinkedIn / pinterest / Tiktok
· Mail Chimp

Skills and Experience Required
Section 4: About you
You must be eager to work in design and apply yourself in a commercial environment
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and positive individual. As well as being a strong team player, you will enjoy working in a busy but rewarding environment and taking on new challenges every day.
Essential attributes include
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Advance level user of relevant IT software including, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Basic level of Affinity, In-design, Photoshop and illustrator
- Passionate interest in the value of design, particularly applied to everyday practical problems
- Fast, reliable, accurate attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Confident telephone manner
- “Can do”, “will do” attitude
- Highly organised
Desirable attributes include
- Advanced level user of Affinity, In-design, Photoshop, Illustrator
- 6 months relevant industry experience
· Second language an asset
