(Boarding House)
Hours of work: 4 hours per week
3.30pm – 7.30pm
Salary: £21.38 per hour
Working Weeks: Approximately 22 weeks
We have an opportunity for a passionate, dynamic and creative Sunday Chef to join our brigade of Chefs, delivering a high-quality service to our boarding pupils, and College events.
This role requires a motivated and pro-active member of the kitchen team; working closely with and reporting to the Head Chef and the Sous Chefs, but assuming full control of the Out-House kitchen operation at a specified Boarding House. The Sunday Chef will provide an evening meal for the residents of the Boarding House in line with direction of the Head Chef and following a menu pattern.
To effectively run all aspects of the kitchen operation within a Boarding House and help with the supervision of duties as delegated, to ensure the Marlborough College Catering Operations complies with all current Food Hygiene, Health and Safety Regulations and any additional requirements laid down by Marlborough College.
Integral to the role is an excellent working knowledge of Food Hygiene and Health and Safety procedures, to ensure the College catering operation complies with all relevant regulations.
