Form of workWe have a fantastic opportunity for a Supply Chain Apprentice to join our team based in Dunnington, York!
You will be undertaking a Level 2 Traffic Office Apprenticeship, as well as learning everything there is to know about the Bestway Supply Chain team!
Your main responsibilities
- Learning the Supply Chain reporting processes
- Learning the Supply Chain accountabilities for internal and external processes
- Understanding forecasting for symbol retail, and learning stock availability
- Learning meeting management, including invitations, agendas and minutes
- Understanding challenges and opportunities with the supply of goods and services, and communicating these
- Updating and maintaining databases
- Working to build strong relationships with 3rd parties and internal colleagues
- Understanding the BestOne presells/allocations
- Supporting the sales plan
- Undertaking study in line with the apprenticeship programme to support your career development
About You
- Maths and English GCSE grade C or above is essential for this role
- Confident, driven, and enthusiastic with strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Keen to learn and develop continuously
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office packages
