Supply Chain Coordinator

Our client, a medium enterprise business who are experiencing a rapid growth journey, are currently recruiting for an experienced e-commerce Supply Chain Coordinator. As Supply Chain Coordinator you will ultimately be responsible for supporting the business with management of suppliers and customers, including samples, schedules, Supply Chain issues, supplier negotiations / cost improvements and more.
This position offers flexibility in terms of start and finish times and has the potential to offer hybrid working on occasion.
Salary circa £30,000 - £40,000 per annum dependent upon experience.
Reporting directly to the Director, your key responsibilities will include:
* Manage existing Supply Chain relationships across the UK, China, Turkey and Pakistan
* Working with suppliers to arrange product samples across entire product range
* Implementation of processes and systems in order to aid in creating an effective Supply Chain function both in-house and externally with suppliers
* Make improvements on tracking of purchases from sampling through to production and delivery
* Sourcing new suppliers
To be successful in the role of Supply Chain Coordinator, you may have also previously worked as a Buyer, Purchasing Coordinator or Procurement Coordinator and you will possess the following qualities:
* Proven track record of working within a similar role in the e-commerce industry is essential
* Able to manage data effectively with excellent accuracy and numeracy
* Strong communication skills
* Good standard of education – A Level / Degree (or equivalent) is preferred
This position is currently based in Bromsgrove however, there is a high likelihood that the business will relocate towards the Redditch area in the near future therefore is easily commutable from Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Alcester, Studley, South Birmingham, Solihull, Worcester, Kidderminster and Stourbridge.
