The Procurement and Supply Chain Division at SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their international Logistics client on a full time, permanent basis. This is a newly created headcount amongst the Supply Chain team to ensure that customer demands and service levels are being achieved.
As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will work amongst a team of Planners and Operational staff. Your daily responsibilities could include:
- Planning time and cost-effective routes across the UK and EU.
- Providing clear communication and updates when it comes to planning changes and operational issues.
- Handling customer and supplier enquiries efficiently whilst delivering a first-class service.
- Reviewing and resolving haulier invoice queries before sharing across to finance.
- Source, approve and onboard new hauliers to give a wider market choice of available carriers.
- Ensure all order management, freight movements, transport and haulier documentation remains accurately updated on the internal database to meet compliance/auditing standards.
- Carry out regular SLA reviews on hauliers to seek improvement opportunities.
- Provide additional administrative support to Planners and Operations team as and where required.
The successful Supply Chain Coordinator will ideally have experience in a similar role as listed above, or previous planning/scheduling experience.
Ideally you will have experience in:
- Strong Geographical knowledge to support with cost and time effective planning.
- Excellent, clear, communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Confident liaising with individuals where English isn't their first language. (Desirable if you can speak/communicate in multiple languages).
- Highly organised.
- Confident problem solver.
