Role:

Our leading client is hiring an ambitious Supply Chain professional confident in their demand planning to join their procurement team. Committed to delivering excellence on time, we want a talented Supply Chain Manager who is passionate about continuously improving the demand planning strategies and supplier relationships.  You must love building MRP plans and confident using ERP systems, preferably MS Dynamics / NAV. 

Responsibilities:

Demand Planning Excellence:

• Continue developing and implementing robust demand planning strategies to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimise stockouts.
• Create and develop advanced forecasting tools and methodologies to predict future demand patterns accurately.

Supplier Relationship:

• Focus on developing and maintaining effective partnerships with suppliers.
• Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate supplier performance.
• Regularly monitor on-time delivery, lead times, and quality standards, encouraging continuous improvement initiatives for both parties. 

Collaborative Teamwork:

• Join a friendly and high-performing team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and production teams to align demand planning with overall business goals.

Strategic Optimisation:

• Analyse historical data and market trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Implement best practices to streamline Supply Chain operations and enhance overall efficiency.

Risk Management:

• Proactively identify potential Supply Chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
• Stay informed about industry trends and changes, adjusting strategies accordingly.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager with a focus on demand planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a data-driven approach.
• In-depth knowledge of demand forecasting tools and methodologies.
• Experience working with ERP system MS Dynamics / NAV. 
• Experience building MRP plans.
