What you will be doingWho are we?

Position Summary:
Assume responsibility for devising and executing a Supply Chain strategy
Empower, motivate, train and support a team of planners
Work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver plans and maintain supply
To maintain departmental compliance with procurement strategy
Work to industry, government and legal requirements
To maintain performance management within the Supply Chain department.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and develop a team of supply planners
Work to improve the overall Supply Chain performance and look for innovations wherever possible.
Monitor team performance against KPI’s
Report on KPI performance to stakeholders
To work with internal and external stakeholders to develop a culture of continuous improvement
Lead planning for seasonal and other demand changes
Drive root cause analysis of supply issues, develop and execute action plans.
Lead seasonal and other planning processes
Lead supplier meetings to review and improve supplier performance
Ensure data is accurate
Understand and comply with job relevant Companies Practice Standards at all times.
Undertake any other tasks as required

Experience, skills and knowledge requirements:
Good understanding of Supply Chains
Have a positive, approachable and professional manner
Experienced in leading teams
Good attention to detail
Be a self starter and be able to prioritise and plan work
Be able to manage ambiguity and fast changing situations
Understanding demand forecasting and sales and operational planning (S&OP)
Be able to influence
Good understanding of MS office esp. excel
Experience working with ERP systems esp. SAP
