Supply Chain Manager

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Supply Chain professional to join our client, a renowned international FMCG business, as a Customer Demand Manager.

We have partnered with an international FMCG business, renowned for their iconic and globally recognised food brands, to support the recruitment of a Supply Chain Manager in their Leeds Head Office. As a Supply Chain Manager you will lead the Customer Demand function within a key category, developing the Demand strategy alongside a reputable customer base of household names, ensuring KPIs are achieved and maximising sales through detailed forecasting projects.

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain professional, ideally with experience from the FMCG, Retail, Food and/or Beverages sectors. You will lead a team of two, so prior management experience is a bonus, however not essential.

Key Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Manager:

• Lead and develop a team of 2 Supply Chain Executives to achieve KPIs and ensure the best possible service levels for Customers.
• Maintain strong stakeholder relations - working collaboratively with internal teams to drive the Supply Chain agenda (including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Factory) and externally with Customers.
• Manage the forecasting processes to maintain accuracy within stock availability, range changes, promotions, and day-to-day demand management, driving improvements and changes where required.
• Coordinate with production planning for optimal stock availability.
• Chair a monthly forecast sign off meeting with key stakeholders and prepare data for annual partnership meetings.
• Provide reporting and analysis on customer KPIs.

What we are looking for - Experience:

• Essential: 3+ years' experience within Supply Chain, ideally gained in an FMCG environment.
• Essential: Advanced use of Excel to conduct forecasting activities.
• Desirable: Knowledge of SAP.
• Desirable: 1+ year of team management experience is preferred, but the ability to step up will also be considered.
• Desirable: Familiarity with retailer internet systems.
