Do you want to be part of a team that delivers world-class submarine capabilities to the Royal Navy? If so, then you might be the perfect fit to join the Submarine Delivery Agency (SDA) as a Supply Chain Operative.
At the SDA, we have a vital mission: to deliver the United Kingdom’s submarine capability and ensure the Royal Navy have the cutting-edge, life-saving tools and battle-winning capabilities to overcome any challenge, now and in the future.
As a Supply Chain Operative, you will be contributing to the delivery and support of Supply Chain activities, covering Demand planning, Inventory Supply Planning, Supplier Management, Financial Accounting and Supply Chain Performance Management. Data you provide to stakeholders will support their decision making. You will be working collaboratively within a large team to ensure the delivery of time sensitive outputs for our front-line customers. It is a fast-paced role and will involve contributing to large amounts of customer engagement, allowing you to gain experience and skills within stakeholder management and both written and verbal communication.
You will be supported by your line managers, and you will have the opportunity to develop your career within SDA and the wider organisation through formal training and on the job learning.
At SDA, we champion flexible ways of working. Regular in-person attendance is expected 3 days per a week at the Bristol offices to promote the benefits of face-to-face collaboration alongside flexibility of hours to support work-life balance. Initially, you may be expected to attend more frequently to familiarise yourselves with the site, the team, and your role.
