Job Title: On-Site Support Administrator
Location: Stevenage
Hours: 8 hours per week (1 day)
Pay rate: £11.98 per hour
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic On-Site Support Administrator to join a team at working at a local authority. This role is specifically designed to assist a valued permanent staff member, who is registered blind. Your support will play a crucial role in ensuring their seamless integration into the workplace and enhancing overall efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Newsletter Assistance:
- Assist in the creation and formatting of the weekly newsletter.
- Ensure that the newsletter is accessible and visually appealing.
Financial System Navigation:
- Provide support in navigating finance systems.
- Assist staff member in managing financial documents and transactions.
Guidance within the Building:
- Guide staff member to specific areas within the building as needed.
- Ensure a safe and efficient navigation experience for the staff member.
Meet and Greet:
- Assist during interviews by providing meet and greet services.
- Facilitate a welcoming and inclusive environment for all stakeholders.
ID Checking:
- Verify identification on behalf of staff member when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in administrative roles is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sensitivity to the needs of individuals with visual impairments.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Familiarity with basic finance systems and document formatting.
