Job description
Supporter Acquisition Manager
As our Supporter Acquisition Manager, you will develop and deliver a multi channelled acquisition strategy and create annual plans and budgets for recruiting new donors through diverse channels. We need you to lead an effective direct marketing donor acquisition programme, ensuring maximum income within budget constraints and build a strong regular giving pipeline for the future.
About you:
We are looking for someone who is dynamic, creative, and ambitious on behalf of children. You should be a pro-active self-starter who has the confidence and creativity to build relationships and develop new partnerships across the private sector. You will enjoy engaging and inspiring supporters at all levels with our ambitions and the role that individual supporters can play in helping us to achieve them. You must enjoy being external facing and be comfortable making ambitious asks and creating opportunities to increase income and widen Hope and Homes for Children’s supporter base.
About Hope and Homes for Children:
Orphanages don’t protect children, they harm them. Put simply: the last thing an orphanage can provide is the first thing a child needs - someone to love them. Science shows what we all know that the bond between a child and their family is vital for their development. Decades of evidence proves that orphanages harm children, subjecting them to high levels of abuse, as well as extreme neglect. Children always belong in families. They need protection, encouragement, play, laughter and love. They need somewhere to call home and someone to love them. You can help us make this a reality for children.
Other information:
This post requires the post holder to have the right to work in the UK. We actively encourage equality and diversity as we believe it brings us closer to our mission of eliminating orphanages. We want you to have every opportunity to demonstrate your skills, ability, and potential; please contact us if you require any assistance or adjustment.
To apply, please upload your CV and a brief cover letter (500 words max) which briefly summarises how you meet the person specification and why you’d like this role. The final date for applications is 5 March 2024. However, we may close the vacancy early if we receive strong applications.
