This role is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in hiring the tech talent we need to achieve our strategic growth plans, with significant scope to make an impact!

Reporting into the Head of Talent Acqusition, this role is a 12-month FTC, where you'll be accountable for the strategic direction of Talent Acqusition within our Group Technology & Data teams, including overseeing our growth into offshore markets. You'll partner with senior business stakeholders to agree the build/buy approach, aligned to the business strategy and work with our RPO partners to ensure a seamless service delivery of the recruitment plan.

You'll be part of a culture of fairness, transparency and inclusion and a Talent Acqusition team focused on delivering on expectations, keeping our promises and never walking past a problem.

What you'll do:

In this role you'll act as a senior strategic Talent Acquisition expert, who partners with the business to deliver recruitment plans that bring top talent to Sky.

  • Build and maintain relationships with the leadership teams in the Technology, Product & Data business areas (with a focus on Group Technology & Data) to ensure a clear recruitment plan (build/buy/internal mobility) aligned to business need and growth.
  • Influence key Talent Acquisition strategies with insight, market intelligence and expertise.
  • Engage with outsource RPO partners to ensure recruitment plan and priorities are met.
  • Shape & drive solutions to key business specific Talent Acquisition challenges and priorities, such as change programmes, future skills/talent pipelining and diversity and inclusion.
  • Engage with colleagues in the Talent Acquisition COE to deliver innovation, new products and services and continuous improvement across Group Technology & Data, such as assessment tools, brand campaigns and candidate/hiring manager experience initiatives.

What you'll bring:

  • Demonstrable success in influencing stakeholders at a senior level
  • An understanding of the recruitment challenges facing technology Talent Acquisition
  • Successfully defined, designed & delivered recruitment plans at scale
  • An understanding of different aspects of recruitment including employer brand and attraction, reporting and metrics, workforce planning and diversity and inclusion initiatives
  • The ability to use data to influence and create/deliver recruitment strategy
  • Ability to demonstrate a broader strategic perspective with a long-term view
  • In house or RPO recruitment experience is ideal
  • Ability to manage different market needs, cultural nuances, and engagement requirements.

Your office base: Osterley
