AES is looking for passionate Sustainability Consultants to build and develop our Overheating teams in order to focus on overheating assessments in accordance with the Part O regulations.
The successful candidate will be a team player with the ability to build good working relationships with colleagues and clients. Good attention to detail is essential as the role requires a high degree of precision and organisational skills.
Key Accountabilities:
- Producing Overheating TM52 and TM59 assessments, Part O assessments
- Active engagement with the client and project team to ensure that sustainability requirements are taken into consideration and achieved throughout the duration of the development
- Delivery of high-quality overheating and thermal comfort analysis using IES
- Thermal Modelling using IES software
- Being involved in Energy Assessments and modelling improvements
- Consult on building design to comply with Part L
- Energy and Sustainability statements for planning
Competencies:
- Be computer literate and have a good level of general education, particularly in Maths, Science and English
- Be competent in the use of IES for overheating analysis including TM59 and TM52
- Be able to self-manage a busy and time-critical schedule of work
- Have excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and able to maintain a positive professional attitude when under pressure
- Be self-motivated and able to deal with a fast-moving, high-pressure environment
