Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 7.5t vehicle for waste collection and transportation within designated routes in Sheffield.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness.
- Collect and dispose of waste materials in accordance with designated schedules and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of collections, mileage, and vehicle inspections.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.
Requirements:
- Valid C1 driving entitlement with a minimum of 12 months driving experience.
- ADR qualification for the transportation of hazardous materials.
- Digital tachograph card and full Driver CPC qualification.
- Excellent driving record with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Ability to work independently and responsibly, with strong attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work Monday to Friday, starting at 07:00.
