A high-growth business based in the Cheshire area are currently recruiting for a Systems Accountant to join the business.
This position will include identifying, sharing and spreading best practise throughout the business, and demonstrating excellent teamwork and you will be responsible for developing and maintaining key relationships across the Group.
This role will involve working with the data and platform development team in relation to acquisitions across the group. Working with the data and platform development team to drive improvements and efficiencies in the current systems and processes.
As Systems Accountant this role will involve:

• Provide support with integrating the Group businesses, acquisitions and review of / changes to processes.
• Provide data as per audit requests and to other external stakeholders
• Provide support to finance team and other departments
• Working with external advisors in order to complete any initial accounting and legal requirements
• Liaising with colleagues around the business on systems development
• Taking ownership of the Financial queries and resolving any technical issues.
• Working with the existing teams to integrate the accounting systems of new acquisitions
• Developing and testing any new system developments that are required.
• Assist in improving processes across the company to increase efficiency.
• Working with the existing team to support projects and other aspects of financial reporting.
• Supporting external audit requirements.

• Have come from an accounting background (qualifications not essential)
• Be able to pro-actively develop and improve business processes
• Have confident communication skills between all parts of the business
