Our client is a leading global defence, security, and aerospace company, are seeking skilled and experienced Systems Engineers with DOORS expertise to join dynamic team integrated project teams at various locations around the UK. There are remote and hybrid working options available.

As a Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of complex systems and software solutions for defence and aerospace programmes.

Your strong proficiency in DOORS, coupled with your engineering expertise, will contribute to the success of their projects and ensure optimal performance and functionality. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications
• Utilise DOORS to manage, trace, and track requirements throughout the system development lifecycle
• Develop and maintain system architecture, including functional and physical views
• Perform system modelling, analysis, and simulation to verify system behaviour and performance
• Conduct requirement validation and verification activities, including test planning and execution.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices
• Participate in system integration and troubleshooting efforts
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and team members
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and advancements in Systems Engineering practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Proven experience as a Systems Engineer with a strong focus on DOORS
• Proficiency in DOORS and other relevant tools for requirements management
• Solid understanding of Systems Engineering principles, methodologies, and best practices
• Strong knowledge of system architecture, modelling, and simulation techniques
• Experience with system integration, testing, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to Systems Engineering
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and meet project deadlines
