The role
As a Talent Analyst, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Reporting to the Group Head of Talent & Performance within the Talent Team, the Talent Analyst will work closely with the HR Function and across our Global business. Playing a crucial role in understanding, evaluating, and optimising the organisation's talent and key succession pool. This role involves data analysis and manipulation, critical thinking, report and presentation preparation as well as collaboration with HR and business leaders and teams to create value through smart talent solutions that underpin our principles and leadership framework.
Day to day, you'll:
• Conduct in-depth analysis of employee performance, and potential, utilising various assessment tools and methodologies to evaluate individual and team capabilities
• Collect, analyse, and interpret talent data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, preparing comprehensive reports and dashboards to present findings to key stakeholders
• Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to understand organisational goals and talent needs, contributing to the development of strategic workforce plans based on talent analytics.
• Assist in optimising recruitment processes by providing insights on candidate profiles and market trends, participating in the development of job descriptions and competency frameworks
• Provide recommendations for individual development plans based on talent assessments, supporting the implementation of initiatives to ensure critical experience gaps are closed and succession plans fulfilled
• Stay updated on HR technology tools and systems for talent management, leveraging technology for efficient data collection, analysis, and reporting
This is a full-time position with a 37.5 hour working week. We're flexible on where you're located if you're happy to travel into one of our many hubs situated in the UK on an ad-hoc basis.
Agile working may be available to employees in some instances, applying the principles of fairness and consistency whilst ensuring that the overriding business needs can be appropriately met. Essential experience of the Talent Analyst:
• Strong analytical and statistical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools
• Excellent people and communication skills for presenting findings and collaborating with diverse teams
• Experience or an ability to illustrate an understanding of working in an HR environment
• Experience in talent analysis, workforce planning, or a related role- helpful but not essential
• Commercially astute, with experience working in a fast-paced multi-site environment
Qualifications for the Talent Analyst:
• Further education in HR, Business, or related field- helpful but not essential
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
