Tate Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside an established pharmaceuticals company who are looking for an Accounting and Tax Specialist to join their team located in London.

Accounting and Tax Specialist-

• £200 per day
• 6 month role- high chance of extension!
• Hybrid working pattern
• Office located in West London
• ASAP start date

Purpose of the role:

Your role as an Accounting and Tax Specialist will be to support the business within a country with complex analysis, reporting, forecasts and provide expert advice within a core FSC process/ area/ technology.

Major Accountabilities:

• To ensure the operational conversion of the Finance strategic goals within a dedicated area of the business & supervise the performance and development of a team.
• Ensures the integrity, viability, and interoperability of financial reporting processes
  and systems, including tax, inventory, corporate controls, and payment and purchasing data.
• Manage and operate the basic reporting processes for actuals and forecasts
• Provide financial accounting services and data in a timely and accurate manner, including fixed assets, cash activities and divestment activities.
• Manage audit reporting processes and support compliance for various tax related reports (i.e.: VAT, corporate tax, employee tax).
• Supervise the development and maintenance of current reporting systems (SAP, BW, Excel).

Essential criteria:

• Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years experience in statutory Tax and Accounting in the UK.
• Must be confident using SAP and Excel
