About the Candidate
We are looking for an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant, to start in September 2020. We want a high quality candidate to join our hard-working team –who will be creative, engaging and want to give our children the best opportunity to be successful in everything they do.
The position is to provide teaching and learning cover support across the Key Stage 1and 2, and PPA cover.
We require the following:
- HLTA certificate (or higher qualification)
- Recognised & relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
- Desirable Qualifications NVQ Level 4 qualification or equivalent.
- GCSE (A – C) or equivalent in English and Maths
- Enthusiasm to work with children of different abilities, skill levels and needs
- Experience working across the preferred Primary phase, and specifically Early Years
- A strong, confident individual with secure class management strategies
- Ability to engage pupils
- Ability to use own initiative
- Willingness to support extra-curricular activities in school
- Support the Christian ethos of the school
