TeacherActive have a fantastic opportunity for a SEND Care Assistant/Teaching Assistant to work in great schools within Stoke-On-Trent. The schools boast amazing facilities for students and staff. This position requires a talented Care Assistant who is caring, flexible, enthusiastic and dedicated to supporting children with educational needs to join their team of dedicated staff.

All applicants will ideally be NVQ Level 3 qualified and have a minimum of 6 months UK experience working with children who have special educational needs and disabilities. Due to the nature of this role, you may need to provide personal care.

You will need to feel confident within an educational setting and be able to take direction from Teachers and Support Staff. The school has a fantastic team of staff who are friendly, supportive and welcoming.

This role will include:

• 1:1 work with students who require additional support
• Providing personal care for individuals, including toileting
• Helping with pupil observation
