We invite you to become our Teaching Technology Specialist, where you'll play a pivotal role in redefining communication and engagement across our campus. Embrace a Multifaceted Role: Video Conferencing: Champion flawless connectivity and collaboration by being responsible for hardware infrastructure, advising on upgrades, and empowering users through insightful reports and guides. Lead daily operations and be the go-to resource for video conferencing needs. Digital Signage: Be responsible for the universities signage system (OneLan), ensuring seamless information flow through proactive maintenance and troubleshooting. You'll be the architect of a dynamic digital canvas for the university community. Teaching Tech Professional: Assist in deploying innovative technology in learning spaces, upholding high standards and timelines. IT & AV Support: Support users in the functionality in teaching and learning spaces. Provide expert face-to-face support on diverse equipment, from voting systems, lecture capture, sympodiums, audio technology and computing. Develop and create user guides for web, print, and video to empower the university community. Collaborative & customer-focused: Build strong relationships with external partners to ensure project success and client satisfaction. Offer expert video conferencing advice for various room sizes and hybrid setups. Champion outstanding customer service, transforming tech challenges into smooth sailing for staff and students Your Personal Growth Engine: Continuous Learning: Demonstrate your commitment to professional development by maintaining a CTS qualification and demonstrating your knowledge to support colleagues and troubleshoot complex issues. Proactive & diligent: Prioritise preventative maintenance, meticulous record-keeping, and adherence to safety protocols across all locations.
