Salary: National ranging from £25,000 to £30,000 and London £27,500 to £33,000 per annum – Salary offered will be based on skills and experience

The team/department
This is an exciting opportunity to join the FCA’s Cross Cutting Policy & Strategy Directorate (CCPS). The role sits within the Consumer Policy & Outcomes Department, which has a central role for Consumer Duty work and also leads on enforcing the FCAs powers under unfair terms legislation, such as the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
What you will be doing
We are looking for a flexible, professional and highly organised administrator. This is not an exhaustive list but, key duties include:
Diary management for managers, and wider teams, including room bookings, rescheduling and prioritisation and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to arrange meetings
Assisting with recruitment activities
Induction of new joiners and helping to keep induction materials up to date
Minute taking of external meetings
Records management and filing – including Sharepoint
Co-ordinating with the wider administration team, providing cover as required for colleagues

The skills and experience you’ll have

Minimum
A proven advanced user of Microsoft Outlook and other key MS Office software, in particular One Note, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Previous experience of working in an administrative position
Experience of using Salesforce (Intact)
Essential
A confident verbal communicator with strong written communication skills
Highly organised, with the ability to co-ordinate, multi-task and ensure attention to detail
Demonstrable ability to prioritise and manage multiple issues
A self-starting approach - the ability to work proactively using own initiative with minimal supervision
The ability to work flexibly with others to complete tasks and meet tight deadlines
Ability to learn new systems quickly and be a point of contact to assist team members, e.g., Sharepoint, Workday
