Job description
The post holder will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Residential Children’s Home and Short Break Services for Children with a Disability. The post holder will assist professional and care staff with the day to day management of the office to ensure smooth running, high quality service and to work on their own initiative. The role will include working as part of a team and will be integral in delivering the strategic ongoing modernization and development of the service. The post holder will be required to problem solve and have an innovative approach to working which will be underpinned by the Operational Policy for the service and other Trust policies. The post holder will be required at all times to communicate effectively and professionally with service users/ professionals/ colleagues and outside agencies..

4 GCSEs to include English (Grade A-C) or equivalent and 2 years clerical experience in an office environment to include the use of the Microsoft Office suite of packages and minute taking experience OR GCSE English (Grade A- C) & 3 years experience , Cash handling/ petty cashMicrosoft Excel Intermediate Level (or above)
