The Department:The Company Secretarial Department is a small but busy area of the firm which deals with a large number of clients. It is comprised of two qualified Chartered Secretaries, an Assistant Manager as well as a Company Secretarial trainee, a senior administration assistant and a Team Administrator.
The department provides Company Secretarial services to clients and other departments within the firm.
The Role:
We are looking for an experienced administrator, who is organised and methodical in their approach to work, to provide support and administrative functions to the Company Secretarial Department. No experience of Company Secretarial work is necessary as full training will be given.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The role is varied in nature and the responsibilities will include the following:
- Providing general administrative support to the department, including sending follow up reminders to clients
- Dealing with post, both in-coming and out-going
- Monitoring of the department's general email boxes and dealing with routine enquiries
- Assisting with the collection of anti-money laundering documentation from clients (full training will be given)
- Using Diligent Entities Company Secretarial software (full training will be given)
- Co-ordinating the return of hard copy records to clients and dealing with archiving
- Other ad hoc duties in line with the role
We require a candidate who can demonstrate the following skills:
- Enthusiasm and the ability to work both on their own initiative and in a team
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- The ability to work to strict deadlines and under time pressure where necessary
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
The successful candidate will be liaising with both clients and managers/Partners of HW Fisher and therefore will need to be personable, approachable, and have the ability to deal with a wide range of stakeholders.
