Pay rate: £14.00 per hour
Shift Pattern: 36 hours on shift & 4 hours office Admin – Shifts: Monday – Sunday 8:00am – 20:00pm & 20:00pm – 8:00am. Team leader will predominantly be working day shifts Monday – Friday but will be responsible to cover nights, weekends and sickness were required.
Location: TS19 & DL2
Requirements: Previous experience with learning disability and Autism, Previous Team Leader experience and a full UK driver’s license.
This role will be working with 2 young males with learning disability and autism in their own home. Our client living in DL2 is non-verbal & shows challenging behaviour alongside his learning disability and Autism. Both our clients enjoy doing activities, socialising & going out in the car. We provide support on a 24/7 basis.

Key Responsibilities
- Team leader duties i.e., coordination of Rota’s, Complete weekly PASS audits, communicate updates, Report staff sickness/ absences, Provide emergency cover plus more.
- Assist with all aspects of daily living and have the ability to help someone build everyday life skills. (Cooking, cleaning, shopping, and planning)
- Helping to plan and organise leisure opportunities such as seeing favourite shows, Bingo, places of interest etc.
- Personal care
- Medication & collection of prescriptions
- Taking to appointments/ helping book appointments
- Meeting client’s sensory needs
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- UK driver’s licens
- Knowledge around Medication
- Previous Learning disability & Autism experience
- Team leader experience ideal but not essential
- Enthusiastic and willingness to learn.
- Flexibility as you will be required to cover sickness & shifts.
