We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join the National Contact Centre team in Cardiff, working 37.5 hours a week.

About the role:
This role is based at the National Contact Centre, Cardiff, and you will need the ability to work a rolling shift pattern of Monday to Friday 8am-4pm and Monday to Friday 10am-6pm. As a Team Leader you will:

  • managing work levels within the team
  • analyse statistics & data to idenfity trends
  • manage a team including responsibility for recruitment, training completion, performance management & coaching
  • ensure performance targets & outcomes are met
  • monitor theservice quality identifying opportunities for development
  • support with audits & reporting

You will need:

  • Good communication, negotiation & advisory skills, both written and verbal when dealing with a range of agencies & individuals
  • Experience of workingng with vulnerable individuals & those experiencing trauma
  • The ability to work in a challenging & changing environment with an emphasis on customer focus & excellence in service delivery
  • Understanding of confidentiality & safe working practice in accordance with GDPR
  • The ability to work without direct supervision, prioritise work and deal with competing or conflicting demands/needs and interests in an organised and methodical manner.
