AWE is looking for Technical Business Administrators (Manufacturing)
These roles will be to Co-ordinate and deliver an efficient, effective, timely and reliable business administration and information service via Local Help Points, iHubs, secretarial and embedded roles that meet our customer’s needs across AWE.
Role: Technical Business Administrators
Location - Reading Area
Salary: £24,750 - £30,000 (dependent on experience)

Successful Candidates will be responsible for:
  • Providing training and guidance for new starters to the team
  • Planning, overseeing and ensuring delivery of tasks within the team
  • General administration/information management services
  • Supporting management activity to meets business needs
  • Owning the Packaging SharePoint site ensuring the customer facing documents are always up to date and available
  • Providing help, advice and guidance to customers on using the services and systems via management of the Packaging Helpdesk
  • Responsible for the digitization of the Packaging archives
  • Organising and supporting the RIM (Regulatory Interface Meeting), hosting site visitors and supporting UK/US meetings
  • Management of configuration documentation produced by Production Engineering teams, supporting them in the creation and/or completion of documents as required
  • Data compilation/co-ordination, report generation and information management (including management of various metrics, route card, inventory management and minute taking)
  • Management of various spreadsheets (e.g. those denoting statuses of projects, training, review responses and actions)
  • Printing, binding, filing and control of MPS, SPS, Method Statements, Technical Reports and Design History documentation etc
  • Support Quality, Safety, Projects, Facility and any other relevant department/programme/project as per business need

Whilst not to be considered a check list, candidates should be able to demonstrate some of the following:
  • Setting of priorities via task management
  • Achieving and maintaining high standards of transactional administration/information management services
  • Identifying problems and providing solutions within set parameters or escalating if necessary
  • Finding ways to continuously improve and exceed customer expectations, making appropriate proposals to management and implementing agreed improvements or changes
  • Maintain and promote high personal standards in Environment, Safety, Health, Security and Quality and to be a great team player
  • Build good, enduring relationships with stakeholders and the team

We would like to hear from individuals with exceptional computer literacy skills, who have worked in a role which includes delivering office administration service and using electronic filing systems and databases to control documentation and records.
We would like you to be fully conversant in MS Office packages and possess the ability to interact at all levels.
Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
