Technical Delivery Manager (Azure)
Location: United Kingdom (Remote/Flexible) some onsite presence in London

Overview:
The Azure Delivery Manager is responsible for leading and managing the delivery of cloud-based projects and solutions using Microsoft Azure. This role involves working closely with clients, project teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes, adherence to timelines, budget management, and alignment with business objectives and cloud best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of Azure cloud projects, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
Collaborate with technical architects, developers, and operational teams to design, deploy, and optimize Azure solutions that meet business requirements.
Manage project stakeholders, including gathering requirements, providing regular updates, and addressing any concerns or changes in project scope.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies regarding data security, privacy, and regulatory requirements within Azure environments.
Lead cross-functional project teams through effective communication, conflict resolution, and team-building strategies.
Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and opportunities to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
Continuously evaluate Azure services and technologies to drive innovation and improve efficiency within the organization.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements and best practices for cloud project delivery.
Provide leadership and guidance to team members, including professional development and feedback.
Work closely with vendors and external partners to ensure alignment and integration of Azure solutions with other systems and technologies.Qualifications:
Advanced degrees or certifications related to project management or cloud computing (e.g., PMP, Microsoft Azure Certifications) are a plus.
Proven experience in project management and delivery of cloud-based solutions, with a strong preference for specific experience with Microsoft Azure.
Strong technical background with a deep understanding of cloud computing, Azure services, architecture, and security best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented mindset.
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools for project management.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen attention to detail and organisational skills.
