I am currently recruiting for an innovative engineering company based in Halifax, West Yorkshire. To contribute to the company’s ongoing success, we are looking for a Technical Design Administrator to join the team.
Position Overview:
As a Technical Design Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the business by managing administrative tasks and facilitating communication among team members a key stakeholders. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with talented professionals in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain organised and up-to-date project documentation, including design specifications, technical drawings, and project plans.
- Act as a central point of contact for the Technical Design team, relaying messages, scheduling meetings, and ensuring efficient communication flow.
- Assist in coordinating resources for design projects, including equipment and external vendors.
- Enter project data into relevant systems or databases and generate reports as required.
- Conduct periodic reviews of design documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards.
- Provide general administrative support to the Technical Design team, such as organizing travel arrangements, processing expense reports, and ordering office supplies.
- Qualifications:
- Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Engineering, or Design) preferred.
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a technical or design-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management tools.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with design software or willingness to learn is a plus.
