Technical Field Engineer II

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation. Our client, a blue-chip IT company, is currently seeking a Technical Field Engineer II based in Aberdeen. This is a full-time permanent role, to start ASAP. The role is paying £24,820 per annum plus company van
Monday to Friday 7.5 hours per day between the hours of either 08:00 - 20:00. Weekends between 08:00 - 16:00 on a pre-scheduled rota
Due to this being a field / mobile role, a full UK driving licence is essential and a company van will be supplied.
The responsibilities will include:
Device and connectivity troubleshootingDevice imaging and configuringDevice swap outs and connectivity cabling, Wi-FiDevice installs, moves, decommissionsDevice stock control and asset managementProactive maintenance, user familiarisation and guidanceCable managementSmart hands and eyesLiaison with other support teamsEssential Skills/Experience:
Previous experience in a similar roleFamiliarity with Point-of-Sale devicesFamiliarity with Cielo and Microsoft tablets, Lenovo / Dell Desktops and Laptops, KVM switches, RoutersKnowledge of Windows operating system and associated technologiesKnowledge of peripherals and their maintenance - printers, scannersBe SLA focused and familiar with call management productsFamiliarity with support procedures, scripts, and processesProven troubleshooting skillsAwareness of Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance would be desirableAbility to gain base level security clearance - BPSSValid UK Driver's License - Vehicle supplied
