Our Cooplands Bakeries are expanding and with this expand new opportunities have emerged. We have an exciting new vacancy within our Bakery. We are looking for a responsible, dedicates and experienced safety and quality manager to take on the role of Technical manager.
What will my role look like?
You will be overlooking all the aspects of food safety quality management system, ensuring that we remain fully compliant in accordance with business customer and legislative standards. You will be working together with the Compliance manager to implement the traceability system within the bakery.
Role Duties:
- Leading and motivating you team team and setting clear priorities and goals.
- Leading QA Management on site to achieve BRC accreditation in the long term.
- Managing all non-conformance, customer complaints investigations to resolution.
- Managing microbiological sampling programme and ensuring all non-conformances are investigated to resolution.
- Completing of internal site audits and ensuring a robust auditing programme is embedded to ensure products are manufactured to a high standard to meet company, customers, and legislative standards. Completing monthly site KPI reports and distribute as required.
- Coordinating and managing QAs and Hygiene Manager activities.
- Completing monthly site KPI reports and distribute as required.
- Creating, monitoring and review of HACCP, TACCP & VACCP plans.
- Leading on site HACCP Team and manage improvements plans.
- Completing technical update reports including performance data, complaint trends and improvement plans to Compliance Manager.
Skills, know-how and experience:
- Technical role experience within retail, food service or manufacturing.
- Knowledge and experience of HACCP & quality procedure.
- Supplier management/auditing skills.
- Experience of BRC Standard.
- People and Team Leading Skills.
- Communication skills with ability to build relationships and share best practice.
- Proactive, innovative, flexible, and co-operative approach to work.
- Ability to work in a changing and flexible organisation.
- Ability to prioritise and organise workload, putting in place robust effective plans and communicate them across the business.
