We’re looking for an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join our operations team in Normanton, West Yorkshire. You’ll be working as part of a team with strong hydraulic knowledge in a dynamic customer driven role.
As Technical Sales support, you’ll provide technical support and quotations to customers on hydraulic/electrical components and systems, offering excellent customer service and strong technical unbiased advice.
We are a premium supplier of high-quality hydraulic equipment into the Transport, Mobile, & Industrial market sectors. We deal with leading distributors including Parker, Hydro Leduc and many more.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Develop a deep understanding of hydraulic components and systems and their applications.
- Provide technical support to customer enquiries for hydraulic and electrical enquiries.
- Produce and manage customer quotations.
- Follow up on sales leads.
Successful Candidate will have:
- Enthusiasm and ambition to provide technical advice and excellent customer service.
- Strong communication skills.
- Flexible approach to day-to-day requirements.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and involvement on team projects.
- Strong hydraulic component and systems experience.
- Knowledge of truck electrification would be advantageous (not essential)
