Position Overview:
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional technical assistance and support to our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues related to our smart metering products. This role will involve both remote support and occasional on-site visits to customer locations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Technical Support to customers via phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to smart metering products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D and Field Service, to identify and resolve product issues.
- Document customer interactions, technical solutions, and best practices in the knowledge base.
- Proactively identify potential product improvements or enhancements based on customer feedback.
- Conduct on-site visits to customer locations for installations, troubleshooting, and technical assistance, as needed.
- Deliver training sessions and technical presentations to customers, both on-site and remotely.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the smart metering field.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Technical Support managing tickets
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites, as required.
