FT Temporary Administrative Support Officer
Lough Moss Leisure Centre
KEY PURPOSE OF JOB:
To provide the day to day Administrative Support for Lough Moss Leisure Centre using electronic and manual processes to ensure the efficient operation of the facility.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Responsible for the financial administration within the facility, including Sports Facilities memberships, bookings, direct debits, invoicing, etc. Generate and compile reports for management, using software packages such as Legend and Total.
2.Responsible for preparing, coordinating and forwarding all payroll information (including timesheets and overtime sheets) to the Payroll team and maintaining and monitoring associated records. Maintain leave records for all facility staff and assist with all enquiries ensuring confidentiality at all times.
3.Provide Administrative Support to the centre to include all seasonal initiatives, including appropriate records and secretariat support alongside recording and inputting Health and Safety related incidents/accidents.
4.As and when required, cover Front of House and Customer Sales Advisors roles.
5.Ensure compliance with Council policies and procedures, including all Health & Safety protocols, and operate within the highest standards of personal behaviour, which reflect the core values and behaviours of the organisation.
6.Promote equality of opportunity and access in service delivery.
7.Ensure the provision of high standards of customer care across all the services provided by the Unit.
8.Promote the service effectively and communicate in a way, which enhances and promotes the public image and overall reputation of the Council.
9.Develop and enhance working relationships with other Council departments, relevant partners and stakeholders to maximise corporate and community planning outcomes and to generate innovation in service delivery.
It is essential that applicants have a minimum of:
1.5 GCSE passes at grade A – C, NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
2.Two years’ employment experience in an office and/or public facing environment to include administration duties.
3.Experience using Microsoft packages including MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook.
Where applicants do not hold the qualifications outlined in 1 above, they must demonstrate a minimum of 4 years’ experience as outlined in 2 above.

Location: Lough Moss Centre - Carryduff
Hours: 37 per week 9.00-5.30pm
Hourly Rate of pay: £13.02 per hour plus accrued holiday pay
Start Date. 22 July to February 2025
Closing Date: 10 July at 3.00pm
