Temporary Finance Officer

Your new role
As a Finance Assistant, your main duties will include, but will not be limited to;

• Responding efficiently and professionally to enquiries and requests for information.
• Using your initiative to solve straightforward problems, following procedures and seeking further information as required.
• Processing e-expense claims, paper claims and authority for payment forms, ensuring they have been made and authorised in line with the university's regulations and procedures.
• Maintaining up to date and accurate expenses and advance logs and ensuring that processed forms are filed weekly.
• Checking purchase card expenditure to ensure compliance with university financial regulations and procedures.

What you'll need to succeed

• Possess an understanding of basic purchasing and Accounts Payable processes.
• Someone who is comfortable with Excel and has experience making spreadsheets.
• Have good working knowledge of SAP
