HR AND OD CO-ORDINATOR TEMPCONTRACT – LISBURN KEYPURPOSEOFTHEJOB:
· Provideand develop a high quality HR & OD Service to the Council in support of thecorporate plan & strategic workforce plan.
·Tooperate in a dynamic and changing environment, inputting to creative solutionsto HR & ODissues andchallenges,andprovide professionaladviceon innovativeHR& OD.
·Provideaccurate and timely procedural support and information to Employees, LineManagers andCustomersonarangeofHumanResourcesissues
DUTIES:
1.Responsible forthe efficient administration of relevant service areas (see below) and provideinterchangeability atAdministratorlevel,inall designatedareas.
2.ProvideacomprehensiveandconfidentialadministrativesupportserviceacrosstheUnit.
3.Responsible foradministration of workforce analytics and associated maintenance and productionofreports.
4.ResponsibleformaintainingthedocumentsandrecordsmanagementsystemfortheUnit.
5.Responsible forefficient administration, to include input, maintaining and update, of HR &ODInformationSystems.
6.Responsible forensuring Information Systems are operating to maximum efficiency andeffectivenessand ensuringintegrityandaccuracyofthedataheldonsystems.
7.Carryout on-the-job training with end users on Information Systems and providedelivery of trainingonaspectsofInduction.
8.Administration ofHR & OD invoices to include raising purchase orders, coding and payment inaccordancewith agreedtimescalesand procedures.
9.Provide effectiveadvice and support to the Council’s Departments and Units on generalist HumanResources issuesatanadvisorylevel.
10.Provide support and advice to line managers inrelation to the implementation of Human Resourcesrelatedpoliciesandprocedures.
11.As directed, assist with the preparation of Monthly /Year End Reports such as Equal Opportunitiesand Absence.Also assist inpreparing reports and statistical returns to relevant CouncilDepartments,externalbodies andCouncil Committees.
12.Promote equality of opportunity and access in servicedelivery and in employment of staff throughthemainstreaming ofequalitywithin theCouncil.
13.Liaise with the other Administrators in delivering theday to day service requirements within the HR&OD Unit,asrequired.

1.1–5GCSEpassesatgradeA-C,NVQlevel2orequivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
1.2–Threeyears’relevant experiencein bothofthefollowing areasofresponsibility.

·MaintainingacomputerisedInformationSystem
Where applicants do not hold the qualifications as outlinedin 1.1above, theymustdemonstrateaminimumoffiveyears’experienceasoutlinedin 1.2.
KNOWLEDGE:
AworkingknowledgeofcomputerisedHumanResource InformationSystems.

Location: Lisburn(Lagan Valley Island)
Hours of work: 37 hours per week 9.00-5.00pm
Rate of pay: £14.17 - £15.88 per hour
Start Date: 21 February (short term contract to end of March24 with possible extension)
